Must Haves

Instead of doing homework I find myself searching for things that Baby Austin really needs!

Here are a few things that we like:)

A Nursery with all the fixings. We really like this one.

 

A jogging stroller so we can play outside with Daddy.

 

Lots of bottles so me and Mommy can take naps and not stay up late like my Daddy does!

16 Weeks!

We will be 16 weeks next Saturday. I am a little impatient because everybody is asking about my belly growth so here it is!

Suprise

We are having a baby!!

This is our first sonogram picture. We are due on July 10th (my birthday). We cannot wait to meet baby Austin. Take your time baby A! We love you so much and think about you all the time. More pregnancy pictures to follow….

Jeanna & Katie

I am so excited about blogging but I just had to share what brought me here! Two of my best friends are also sisters. They have both been blogging for about 4 years now and even though they were miles away I was able to see their lives through their blogs.

Jeanna became my best friend in 7th grade. We went through high school and college together, boys, friends, fights, deaths, and all of life's challenges. Jeanna is a strong, independent and loving person who is not afraid of change. She recently moved back to GA from Florida. I do miss having a best friend at the beach but I am more excited about my friend being home!

Katie was my best friend’s big sister who made us clean her car so she would take us places and also let me borrow her clothes sometimes. In high school Katie drove me around before cheerleading practice while Jeanna rode with somebody else. When I went to college Katie lived in the same apartment complex and showed me the ropes. She became one of my best friends also and the rest is history! She makes me laugh like no other, has one of the biggest hearts I have ever known and loves her friends like family. Katie also has a pretty cool husband who I have also known since I was 14. They recently moved back to GA from Colorado. Katie and Anthony just had a baby girl and named her Hazel. Hazel has brought a whole new meaning to blogging. Looking at Hazel’s pictures is one of my favorite things to do at the end of the day. I hope you girls enjoy reading about my life as much as I love reading about yours!

How it all Began

So I have finally started to blog and I thought what better way to start than to tell our story from the beginning. I met Nash when I was 14 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Thomaston GA. I immediately thought he was cute and can remember everything he had on that day (even the Tommy Hilfiger socks). We started flirting and went on a date that summer before my freshman year and his junior year. I thought he was my soul mate from the get go! We dated a little over a year and decided to break up because we were very young and needed to live a little. We dated other people, fell in love, graduated high school and college, and experienced life as individuals. 8 years later we saw each other at a hometown football game and stayed up talking all night. Our feelings had not changed for each other and we were still very much in love. 2 years later, Nash asked me to marry him in a cabin by a lake with Rhett Akins singing our song from high school More Than Everything and of course I said yes with big tears in my eyes! We married on June 14, 2008 and have enjoyed every day of marriage and being together again.
