31

Nash turned 31 on Saturday. We spent the day with Casie and Jason, ate a little Big Chic, and finished the night at the river sitting by the campfire. If you know Nash friends, family, river, and a campfire are his favorite things with a little music of course. Happy Birthday Hubby. I'm so excited about watching you become a Dad this year.

It's a BOY!

We are so excited about having a baby boy. Daddy is really excited! We will never forget the moment when Mrs. Susan Buchanan showed us your penis. We love you so much baby boy Austin and will try to give you a strong name with great meaning.

Birthday Celebrations

We spent this weekend celebrating Amy’s 30th birthday at her parent’s house and Ashley’s 29th birthday at 6th Street Pier. We had a great time with friends and Nash even sang a little with Ben. Cheers to a great weekend and many more birthdays for Amy and Ashley!

Three's Company

Meet my best friends Maryann and Amy. We are friends for so many reasons! Maryann has been my sister’s best friend since high school and Amy has been my best friend since high school. Our husbands are best friends also, which means we spend most of our weekends together. Now we are all expecting babies this summer. We are very excited about sharing this experience together and watching our children grow up together the same way we did! I will be sure to keep everybody updated on Baby A, Baby B, and Baby D. July, August, and September will be here before we know it!!

February 1st

February 1st is one of the hardest days of the year for me and my family. On February 1, 2009 my mother took her last breath and went to heaven. It was not easy then and it is not easy now! I do look forward to the day when I will see my momma again. She was such a strong woman and her faith was just as strong as she was! The past three years have been full of memories that she has missed and were not the same without the heart of our family. My sister has graduated college, got married, and I am pregnant with her first grandchild. I rarely ask myself why me because I was blessed with such a wonderful mother that I feel selfish even asking that question. I hope that I can be the kind of mother my momma was to me and I promise to tell baby Austin as much as possible what a wonderful Grandma he or she has in heaven.
"You are my baby, I am so proud of you, take care of your Daddy, and momma will always be with you"-the last words my momma left with me
