Being a Mommy

My 8 weeks are up! I went to back to work this week and reality has set in....I will be leaving my baby boy every day. I have enjoyed being at home with him and have a bond with Majors that is indescribable.

 

I will miss...

waking up whenver we want

spit up and pajamas

and any changes that will come

Making New Friends

Majors has continued to make new friends. He is still waiting on a few to get here but has enjoyed meeting new people and learning new things!

Tanner liked tickling my face

The Landers took turns holding me

The Greens brought me this really cool swing and Hazel gave me my pacifier whenever I needed it.

Shaw isn't here yet but her Momma let me use one of her blankets after our parents grilled out.

Airplanes

When Majors is fussy Nash carries him around the house like an Airplane and it calms him down (most of the time).  I love seeing these two happy!

Family Weekend

This weekend Casie and Uncle J came to visit. Majors went on his first shopping trip to Rescue Me and put his feet in the pool for the first time at his Papa Majors house. It lasted only for a second because he was screaming!! He likes his water warm:)

1 Month

Majors was officially one month old on August 1st and weighs 7.5lbs and is 21 inches long.  He is growing very fast and is starting to wake up more. He is also very strong and working on holding his cute little head up. Nash and I had a couple of bumps in the road of parenting but are completely in love!

First Bath

Majors had his first bath in his big boy tub.  Nana helped and Dad took only 30 pictures. It was a big success!
